Really that is stupid. Who would not want to go to the White House, regardless of who the POTUS is? I would be pissed. Frankly, I think is being short sighted. I also don't understand these sports teams and such keeping politics and sports separate. I think you would look back later in life and said, damn I had a one time shot to go behind the scenes in the White House and meet a President instead we chose to be idiots so we could feel warm and fuzzy for a minute.
