To all of HerdNation's Military Veterans... thank you!

Look I find what people that go into the Military as brave people

But lets not deny the fact the government uses them for their own personal interest and when the soldiers aren't any good for them anymore, they just get tossed to the side.

Maybe so Fev... But for me it was a great experience and maturing agent.

Maybe your post should be for another time and place. Not that I am a moderator.

For today I salute all vets.

It's a trade off, I used the government to get me through college with only owing $800.00 in student loans.

And I failed to mention I got a free computer from the VA as a freshman, I also had a tax free job with the VA through my Marshall years as well. They use us for all sorts of reasons but I was ok with that, knew that going in. But I assure you I took full advantage of them as well. I can't force myself to apply for any type of disability (which I'm certain I could get) stubborn pride I suppose

Be thankful. Without vets you might not be able to write the dumb shi* like you just wrote above.

So, go enjoy the day.

Oh really??? When was the last time my freedom as a US citizen was in jeopardy again?? I swear that is the dumbest piece of propaganda BS by the US Government and Military. Again I am not against the soldiers that risk their lives but them risking their lives have nothing to do with mine. I just wished the Government carried more about the lives of the soldiers they are sending out to war to fight their interests.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The point is fever which you miss is their willingness to fight for your freedom when called upon, it's not how many times we've actually had to answer that call.

Fev, I love your posts but sometimes I wonder if someone hacks your phone and posts for you when you aren't looking.

You do realize if our WWII vets had not sacrificied we would probably be speaking German today and blond haired aryans would be the only population today.

Now I have watched a ton of WWII documentaries and the Russians had has much if not more of a hand in defeating the Germans as we did

I just re-watched that ESPN montage of the soldiers coming home and surprising their kids. I think it's the same one I teared up to last year. It got me again. I can't put words to the respect I have for all that have sacrificed their time, their minds, their families, their bodies, and their lives for our country. Thank you all.

Fever while are service men and women may not be fighting for your freedom they are fighting to protect it. Sure your freedom may not be in jeopardy today but if they weren't stepping up to answer the call it most definitely would be.

Every time I see one of those videos its always like someone starts cutting onions. It gets me every time.

Fever, you seek and get plenty of attention 364 other days a year, is it too much to ask you to not be an attention whore for one day and pay a little bit of respect to those who help ensure your right to be the disrespectful diva you are?

I normally don't get involved with the drama that occurs from time to time on this board. But, this one has ate at me all day. I would like to offer up the an excuse of ignorance on your behalf but that would not hold up in a court of law. You obviously have some knowledge of what you speak. Therefore sir, YOU ARE STUPID! Less than 1 percent of Americans choose to defend this country. And yes it is a defense of this country. Your freedom is at risk everyday. Make no mistake about it. Instead on rambling I will close with this. When you finish watching John Wayne save the world, do us all a favor and educate yourself on history and football...YOU SUCK AT BOTH!!!

Like I said, I have nothing against the soldiers who go and fight and choose to be pawns for the federal government. But I'm just calling a spade a spade. But at the end of the day, my freedoms are still in jeopardy just like yours by the federal government each and every day. That's why I think it is BS when people say the soldiers are fighting for our freedoms, when the same government who ships them off to fight for their interest treats them like shit when they aren't needed anymore. And the same government continues to snatch away freedoms from the citizens in this country everyday.

You guys want to fall into the propaganda of the US Government, sure go right ahead but they and the Military Industrial complex are laughing straight to the bank while they ship you to go kill some guy on his native land over the oil he has no control over.

And I could give 2 shits how any of you think of me. I'm sticking to what I believe. Again I just feel sorry for the soldiers. Be all you can be while the government allows it

I respect your opinion and you're entitled to it. I think it's completely idiotic, militant, and highly uninformed. We gave you the right to be that way,

Fev, question for you.....If the government reinstated an active draft, and if you were chosen to serve...

would you?

Fever, I think you would be well served to spend some time this holiday season as a volunteer at a Vet Home or a soup kitchen. Humbling yourself will do you some good.

Well I'm 30 so I wouldn't qualify but if I was chosen, I would dodge and would rather go to jail. Atleast I wouldn't put my life in danger for a cause I don't believe in

I have volunteered before and have sat down with Veterans and too see them not being taken care off by the government makes me sick
