VP Harris Having a Stroke On TV

When people refer to this administration as "the regime" it is because there is no way in hell either Biden or her are actually making substantial decisions.

I certainly thought Obama was actually in charge of what was going on. Same with Trump, maybe less so with Bush.

But come on, a regime of unelected people is running the show here, correct?

It's got to be. This may be one of the most incompetent Administrations in my lifetime. Largely because they seem to run everything by committee. Anyone with experience should know if you want nothing to get done (in anything), turn it over to a committee who wants "consensus" in order to make decisions and take an action.

Even greed has trouble defending this indefensible administration. Likely has to bite his tongue whenever he posts in defense of mush brains. Figure greed is holding out hope for a Bernie/AOC ticket, as that's who he likes the most, based on the socialists/commie agenda they put forth.

The press is part of the regime. I mean look at that picture. These press conferences are pure Kayfabe.
Then you're gas lit to be under the impression this is "normal" in prior administrations.
Well, well. Let's just pass a law that no one can use notes when speaking to people in person.

I don’t want more laws.

I want a press that isn’t in bed with an administration. That isn’t “notes” that’s a pre submitted incredibly accurate pre submitted description of her question.

Think they do this for anyone else?

And it always has been. The press has historically been overwhelmingly liberal. They vote 90% Democrat and have been cheerleaders for that party for as long as I can remember. To think they don't allow these biases to affect their reporting is naive at best...

Maybe it's recency bias but it seems more pronounced to me.

Name a president that has been more openly accessible to the media than Trump. He knew that they hated him and vice versa, and he would stand up there and argue with them all day. But you know none of the questions were pre-planned for him in advance like they are for Biden. No doubt whatsoever that this entire administration is very carefully orchestrated.

Yes.

It is my understanding it is standard practice to know about subject matter that may be asked, but damn near direct quotes of what the question(s) will be with who to call on and what they look like....come on, it's gas lighting to tell everyone this is normal operating procedure.

You really think non-Fox press was submitting specific questions to Trump and/or he needed a dementia-friendly note card like that?
Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly is claiming that some interviewers prearranged questions with Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign.

For a sit down interview or a press conference where a charade is put on like he’s calling on “reporters?”
I mean this with all due respect Doc. Stop trying to engage with this moron. Even when he knows he's overcommitted, he just doubles down out of spite.

Greed would rather continue with discourse until you give up so that he can declare victory in his mind. It matters not to him how ridiculous of an argument he's presenting.

Without a doubt it has become more pronounced. There are no longer any pretenses of being objective. I thing the appropriate term is advocacy journalism.

it's not even jounalism any longer. it's merely putting loudmouths on the air to spew their personal views or those of the company they work for to the audience they're attempting to influence.

I have zero problems with note cards with a reporter’s name, picture, & news outlet on it. Honestly, anything above that is suspect regardless of the candidate. The press isn’t supposed to go right along with politicians. The fact people don’t want it to be adversarial on anything is just bizarre. Status quo cheerleaders

Setting and format absolutely make a difference. Sit down interviews are more conversational wide ranging and formal. A press conference is the exact opposite of this things
It makes no difference as to whether or not they have notes, or if they have prearranged questions

Yeah, he was very accessible to the media he refused to call on and the other ones he banned from the White House.

In all seriousness, I watched the video twice, and I am not sure what the issue is. She threw her hands around while trying to act like her mother in that story. There are plenty of things to go after, but this one seems like nothing.

Pretty sure Biden admin has banned ny post from an event recently

The difference: I'm not making absurdly stupid claims that Biden is the most accessible president to the press in history, like Big Dummy said about Trump.

“In a lot of ways, this dinner sums up my first two years in office. I'll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions and cheerfully walk away.” ~ Biden at the WH Correspondent’s Dinner

Except the Biden admin constantly talks about being one of if not the most transparent in history.
