Marshall will welcome a total of seven visitors this weekend as it returns home to take on Norfolk State. There will be five 2016 visitors including a current commit, one 2017 visitor and one 2018 visitor. Two of the five 2016 visitors will be on an unofficial visit.

2016 visitors:
Chris Jackson
Jackson is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound defensive back for FAMU DRS (Florida A&M University Developmental Research School) in Tallahassee, Florida.
Jackson committed to Marshall on July 28 over offers from Troy, Kent State, Appalachian State and Florida A&M. Jackson runs a 4.47 40-yard dash. He is unranked by Rivals.
Marshall is recruiting Jackson as a defensive back, but with his speed he could be a candidate to be a kickoff or punt returner. He will be on an official visit.
Omari Cobb
Cobb is a 6-foot-4, 205-pound linebacker from Treasure Coast High School in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Cobb doesn’t have a Rivals profile. He does hold an offer from Marshall and a reported offer from Massachusetts. Cobb will be on an official visit.
Tyler Cromer
Cromer is a 6-foot-2, 245-pound defensive lineman from Reading High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cromer doesn’t have a Rivals profile. He currently doesn’t hold an offer from Marshall. He will be on an unofficial visit.
Hunter Foster
Foster is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound tight end from Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, West Virginia.
Foster doesn’t have a Rivals profile. He currently doesn’t hold an offer from Marshall. He will be on an unofficial visit.
Emmanuel Madden
Madden is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound defensive lineman from Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Madden doesn’t have a Rivals profile. He currently doesn’t hold an offer from Marshall. He will be on an unofficial visit.
Madden also visited Marshall last season with his brother Zion.

Tyler Fannin
Fannin is 6-foot-3, 290-pound center from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia.
Marshall was the first school to offer Fannin and offered him following his performance at the Herd’s June 18th camp. Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Navy and others are showing interest in the versatile offensive lineman.
Fannin’s father, John, played at Marshall from 1984-89 as a tackle and center. Fannin’s older brother Josh is a freshman at Middle Tennessee State. Marshall was also his first offer.
Fannin is currently unranked by Rivals. He will be on an unofficial visit.

Zion Madden
Madden is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound defensive back from Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Madden doesn’t have a Rivals profile. He currently doesn’t hold an offer from Marshall. He will be on an unofficial visit.
