I BElieve it was eku who tried a 65 yarder on the last play of the game
. It missed the crossbar by a few feet. All our hearts stopped. Was it Wofford who missed on the last play of the game to win at the Joan.

Yep different game different year. We tied WCU on the last play. Eku game featured their all american half back but dont remember his name.We lost to EKU on a close one at richmond. Nothing to argue about geez. Beating louisville at louisville during mike barbers day was big. Beating appy state to win the southern conference was befire a standing room only.

Tim Lester was the best back on that team, a really hard runner. Can't remember the kickers name, I believe Dale Dawson who was an all-American was gone by '88 One of Roy Kidd's assistants at that time was Rex Ryan.

The Wofford game I think was in 98 and IIRC Danny Derricott blocked or at least tipped the FG attempt to preserve the win for the Herd.
