We are 7-1. And just won a game. But let's complain!
From watching the game I don't think we really tried to do much after the first quarter. Look, we have a slew of injuries (hopefully the swede can come back next week) and a freshman qb and we won't play an even mediocre team for another 2 weeks and probably won't play a "good" team until the last game of the year.
The only thing that matters leading up to WKU is that we don't drop another game. We need to be as vanilla as possible and stay injury free winning games (and we should win them easily) going into the WKU game. We did that today, for the most part. So I'm happy.
You guys are absolutely right, as we have played on offense recently we look terrible. I also know we have a freshman qb and feel like we are keeping it basic for him now. We will be fine. No need to not enjoy w's because of fear of he future. If you told most herd fans that Foster would be getting the bulk of the carries and Litton was our starter at the beginning of the year, most wouldn't expect us to beat WKU. It is definitely possible. But we will be dogs in that game for sure. I guess my point is, we should enjoy the victories and not worry about what would have happened IF we played WKU today because we didn't. And if we had the game could have gone differently.
I am very concern about matching MTSU and WKUs level of intensity. Not so sure we can play a full 60 minutes of high intensity football right now.I would say the only thing that matters is WKU is playing better than us right now and I don't believe we can magically just play well that game. We know we're going to win the games leading up to it, we need to be looking for improvement.

Thank God we don't play WKU now. We can't expect the D to hold them to 2-3 scores. The offense isn't close to keeping up with them.
MT will be a toughy as well. Remember what happened last time we played down there.
