Berea is okay, but it's full of leftist hippies. Boone Tavern is a cool little place to stay there with a really good restaurant. Bardstown is nicer, imo, with some interesting history and multiple distilleries to tour nearby.

If I was still alive, I'd plan on it some more. Since I died, it's Mason County or WV only. Found out that KY and TN or anywhere on I-75 is just crowded as hell. WV is the best if you just want to go home and die on a couch with nobody around.

The premise of the OP is flawed. No one "thinks" of Pence at all for the most part. He's just out there somewhere and no one really cares one way or the other.
