As someone who grew up in Morgantown, lived there for 30+ years, and went to WVU for a few semesters, I think it's safe to say that WVU doesn't care one iota about Marshall. MU isn't looked at as a rival or an equal or any close approximation.

Starting with multiple delusions of grandeur formulated in the feeble, and fevered, brain of President Gordo Geek and ending with the ultimate and sobering realization that WVU football will be nothing but a perennial Big 12 also ran. One of the perpetual group of midgets chasing futilely a couple of Giants!
