Change of pace topic here. What is the best gift you have ever received as an adult that you wanted as a kid? For years, I always wanted a pair of white, black, and red Jordan 9's. It was the pair of MJ's that came out after the 93-94 season when the Bulls 3-peated for the first time. Well I could never afford them as a kid, but I absolutely loved them.

Leave it up to my wife to buy me a pair for my birthday last week. We had talked about these shoes a few times in the past and I always told her that if I wasn't a husband, a dad, and had family to care for, I would probably drop $300 on a pair. But I just couldn't bring myself to do so. Well, she surprised me with a pair of these exact shoes that I have wanted for over 20 years.

One of the many reasons I love my wife.

I plead the fifth.

My dad mailed me Stewart’s hot dogs in Florida one year for my birthday. I’m a frost top first kinda guy but I loved getting some food from back home

God I bet those hotdogs were worse than they are fresh. How anyone likes Stewart’s hotdogs is beyond me.

My wife got a Nintendo switch for Christmas. It's really great to play Mario kart with our 4 year old (auto steer feature is great). I spent a lot of time as a kid playing that game.
teach them right. No auto steer hahaha. I beat the crap out of my kid at Mario cart

My mom orders me a case of Mr. Bee's potato chips every year for Christmas. They may or may not last for a week or two.
That's pretty awesome. I got hooked on Utz Crab Chips when I lived in Virginia, and used to have a friend send me up a case from time to time. Problem being, you had to eat them rather quickly before they would go stale. That's a lot of chips to eat over a 2-3 week time period.
