Herd played with emotion and effort the entire game, offense and defense. Played a little more under control (rarely shot a 3 as soon as they crossed center court)

Exciting game to watch, crowd into it, especially near the end.

20 cheerleaders to watch.

Pep Band sounded great, just didn't get enough changes to play.

A fun afternoon at the Big Butterfly !!!

It was a good game to watch, and win. Saw UTEP at the United counter in Yeager about 6 this morning. They are flying thru Chicago back to El Paso. Long day for those young men.

After Thursday I wasn't expecting much. UTEP is a pretty good team. When they came back and pulled ahead late, I thought here we go again, but this time we didn't fade. The crowd took their time leaving after the game, savoring the win.

Kambola was key to the win and was named player of the game. Edmonds was hot, Taylor was clutch. They still need a lot of improvement, but hopefully they will keep up their focus.
