I know many on here are happy to see Doc go but I just want to be on record to say thanks for the following:

Running a clean program.
Restoring us to respectability
Building the program not just a team so you could move on to a better gig
Understanding Marshall and where we fit in the football universe.

I just hope the next coach can take what you built and take it to the next level which is what many want. Keep your head up Doc you are a good man and a adopted "Son of Marshall" in my book.

Very well said. I hope he gets a great job somewhere he wants to be and is successful. It was time for Marshall to move on and they have. Let’s remember the good things he brought to the program and get excited about the next chapter (if we don’t pull a Marshall and make a really bad decision on the next coach).
