The only reason to not announce anything is that the MU decision involves other schools making their final decisions. There is no perfect choice for us. Weighing the good versus the bad. And it likely is not one or two schools involved. We want to know what WKU, MTSU, ODU, JMU and others are going to do. With either the CUSA or SB, we need at least some schools in somewhat closer proximity than Texas and Georgia.

This all has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with athletic performance in football, nor basketball, nor soccer nor anything else.

This is forwarding the basic lie that predates even the AAC calling itself the AAC, when it was still the so-called Big East. That being IN a city means people in said city give a flying f*** about you.

Texas and Oklahoma decided their Big 2, Little 8 experiment was not working, so they decided to blow up Big 12 2.0 and resume legitimate conference membership. The leftovers, having no other options as they were rejected by the other conferences, went out and “raided” some fellow mid-majors to flesh out the Big 12 3.0.

So our enemy, Arseco, goes out and finds the six largest market schools in CUSA and move them into his little joke of a deal (save FIU, which is so dysfunctional even the master snake oil salesman would not try that one). Just as he has been yelling idiocy about UCF’s mythical national championship and “power 6” and all of this nonsense, he will try to sell the stupid on the idea that the most popular team in San Antonio isn’t Texas (followed by A&M, and then a whole list before you get to UTSA somewhere on page 5). Same with Tampa, actual South Florida, Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, etc.

MU could have won every game for the last two decades. This is irrelevant. It is all about telling the stupid that Charlotte’s favorite team is its commuter college most are unaware exists.

It is that ridiculous league's raison d'être . Otherwise it is a random collection of teams whos only commonality is wishing they were in a relevant conference. Now three of them have had their wish fulfilled. So the enemy found some more comics to fill in.

People that parrot the "Power 6" and "UCF really won the national championship" and ignorantly put down their own conference add to that poison.
