With their style of play, they have a punchers chance against most teams, other than the handful that have dominated the sport for the last 25 years, maybe longer.

Are they a young team, with a lot coming back next year? This coach actually recruits as well, so she may build a team that can make regular trips to the big dance, as opposed to once every couple generations.

It's a one bid league, so that will come down to the conference tournament.

But with two more wins they would guarantee at minimum an NIT bid.

Interesting the WNIT is not owned by the NCAA, so starting in 2024 the NCAA will host the WBIT which will consist of 32 teams.

Our two leading scorers are both graduating. Oddly enough, both started at D2. Abby Beeman at Shepherd and Breanna Campbell at Glenville (came over with Coach Kim).

Outside of Beeman and Campbell, the only loss scheduled to happen will be Mahogonay Matthews, who is our center but has been out since the middle of January.

Sounds like a lot to lose (and it is) but we will return eight players who average at least 12 minutes/game this year, including Aislynn Hayes who is averaging 15/game. She had 21 and 10 boards today. Cupboard is far from bare.

Coach Kim didn't announce any signees back in November, which leads me to believe she will be heavily involved in the transfer portal. Would be very surprised if we don't land a couple of studs (studettes?) via the portal.
