Not really a fan but wife and daughter are so ESPN has been on the last few days. Somewhat fun to watch. Did get to see the Herd win games in the NCAA Regional Tournament in Lexington a couple of times in 2013 and 2017 while my daughter was playing in the state tennis tournament at the same time.

Andi Williamson was impressive in the 2013 tournament. Another local girl from Grayson KY has been super impressive for Alabama this year.

Tide's Fouts has 5th perfect game ever in WCWS

Alabama's Montana Fouts completed the fifth perfect game in Women's College World Series history, striking out 14 -- on her 21st birthday no less -- to lead the Tide past UCLA 6-0.

Softball is a sport that if you have an outstanding pitcher(one player), you can win , state, league, and national titles - regardless how good of a hitting team you are.

Alexander for JMU and Fouts for Alabama are proving just that. Moreso JMU though, ‘Bama has some sluggers.

Definitely to a large degree, especially if you can stay out of extra innings and/or the losers' bracket.
