Good credit score? Get a loan? You now pay a 1 percent fee. Lower score? You get a discount.

When does it ever stop with these leftists?

Disgusting.

What bank does this ?..Sounds kind of weird to me.
Your illustrious leader put a rule into effect starting in May. Good credit score buyers will assume some of the risk for low credit score buyers buyers.

That's your side.

Overall, lower-credit buyers will still pay more in LLPA fees than high-credit buyers – but the latest changes will close the gap.

Ahhh yes. A higher risk shouldn’t pay more….same theory tried that led to the financial crisis in 2007.

Good point. The gap should be eliminated.

So you believe a business should finance purchases at the same rate and same terms to anyone, regardless of any factors that create differences if the product they are financing?

You're confusing higher risk with greed.
You have a history of not paying your bills. I pay my bills on time. Why would/should a third party want to offer you the same terms as me on something like a house, car, or business loan

Correction . what causes that financial crisis was banks not regulated enough by republicans and they took too many chances on that involved derivatives. In other words gambling with their depositors money on risky investments. Check it out.

Wrong. Mortgage backed bonds failed when people stopped paying their mortgages.

It’s never really a good idea to loan people money who can’t pay it back. History has shown this time and time again.

Repay your public education and then we talk.
My education was paid for in full, and I send my children to private schools which I pay for in full. I worked my way up from my ultra blue collar upbringing, never received financial aid and paid college tuition in full as well. (Continuing education currently at LSU online, paying out of pocket yet again.) Not bad for a kid from Lesage, WV—if I can do it, anyone can.

Not anyone but I do commend you.

Different states have programs that help low income or bad credit situations, pushing those who have worked hard to get credit scores up and pay their bills consistently on time to help those who are under the threshold causes nothing but anger and resentment. While I’m all for helping the underdog, you have a large segment of people that will exploit this situation, and those that now have no incentive to do better. Regardless of the actual amount of money it impacts on a mortgage, it’s not right the way it has been implemented. At the very least citizens should have the ability to vote on a measure like that.

They did and they elected Biden.

Great. People with similar backgrounds are multi millionaires. What's your excuse?

You speak of class warfare . What about your republican party always giving all their tax breaks to the ultra rich and the corporations including the very corrupt big oil giants? When do they start helping the poor and the middle class ? I can tell you . Never!!
how are dems helping the poor and middle class? Interest Rates? Inflation? Forcing people to expensive electric cars? Higher gas prices? Maybe men playig women's sports? Higher crime rates?

So you tell me how are Dems for the middle or lower class? Dude, that argument walked out of the room decades ago. Dems are radical leftist, for the elites, globalists, wall street, big pharma, etc.

So keep touting that stupid mantra.

Money is paper that YOUR ilk places their entire emotional ("goodness") desire in order to possess. It's the object you want and think about the most. Yes. Your kind loves money. You think you're entitled to it. So entitled, in fact, you whine at the thought of not getting it taken from another and put in your account. You love it so much, you get rattled with jealousy when you hear someone earning it may get to keep it, or gasp when they suggest they may want to use it for the benefit of their own cause. You love money so intensely; you sold your soul to the political party that promises to always take from another and give it to you.

Remember this the next time you start to cry about "the rich guy": YOUR LOVE of money... ultimately resulted in you always NEEDING someone else's.

Tell me how, if they magically raised taxes on every corporation that it would make anyone's life better?

That stuff is just a gotcha moment.
