Now, I suppose a deranged Trump supporter could have left this. BUT, Mexicans have been part of TX since day one and comprise 40% of the population. Hell, Tex-Mex is a US cuisine category. So, this could have been faked - or we're not getting the whole story.

Speaking of Tex-Mex, you ever been to Chuy's? There's one at Easton. It's awesome. They have this creamy jalapeno dip you can get along with their traditional salsa and chips. I don't know what's in it, but I can sit and eat their fresh chips and dip all damn day.

I generally like small, strip mall Mexican places. Used to visit Lupitas Tacqueria in Detroit's Mexican Village. A two-taco lunch was $2.95....with pinto beans (not refried). Traditional steak tacos served with cilantro and onions and a choice of two hot sauces. Damn....my mouth waters just thinking about it.

Chuy's sucks. EXCEPT for happy hour, with that free nacho bar. Yes that creamy dip is great. But their entrees leave much to be desired.

Agree. Some of those local places that have opened up in vacant restaurant locations are terrible shit.

However some of the taco trucks around here are awesome.

I went to a Mexican place and then asked for some ice. Waiter took off running and so did the others. Never got our order and he never came back to wait on us. Never even got the check. Left 10 bucks on the table and went to Taco Bell. Their service sucked.
