With the new change of boards I am contemplating making a few changes to our forums lineup. I would do away with the Archives board since now there are no limits to archiving pages.
I'm thinking about adding a forum for all of our third party articles(think ESPN, Herald Dispatch, etc) and social media posts. If we post every interesting Herd related tweet, vine or article, the main boards could get junked up in a hurry. This would free up HN and OF for HerdZone and HerdNation content and Herd sports discussion.
Of course if there is something big or breaking, that's a different story. Of course those posts/articles would go on the main board. Run of the mill stuff that is of interest to Herd fans would go on this board. Its something users could check once or twice a day to read and get info. It may not be a discussion heavy board.
I am also thinking of a Conference USA Board. It would be nothing but C-USA related discussion. Hopefully we could draw users from other member schools to participate at times.
What are your thoughts on this? Would you use these boards?
