Sounds like a big drug and homeless problem.Sounds like you haven't been to California in about 20 years. You're welcome to visit. I have extra bedrooms/bathrooms, extra cars, extra bikes, and extra whores. You can come see first-hand how it's the best state in the country to live in . . . for those who can.
I spend about half of my nights/days in California. I can't recall the last time that I have seen a homeless person in California. It's been well over a month.Sounds like a big drug and homeless problem.
About 18 months ago, a panga washed up on the shore overnight a few blocks from the place that I owned on Laguna Beach. You’re somehow confusing people spending about 30 seconds in a place with drugs and homelessness.Migrant boat washes up on Malibu beach near Barbra Streisand home
A boat full with over two dozen suspected illegal migrants washed up on a Malibu beach near the $100 million oceanfront mansion of border wall-basher Barbra Streisand earlier this week.nypost.com
Guy on the interview said there are over 100,000 homeless in California. The US government says 171, 000.. the entire country is 580,000 or so. California per capita is top 3 in homeless. The USA avg 18 per 10,000. California is about 44 per 10,000.I spend about half of my nights/days in California. I can't recall the last time that I have seen a homeless person in California. In Utah, I saw countless homeless people within minutes of leaving my place.
In California, I have never seen a person doing or selling drugs in public. In Utah, I have seen both countless times.
Utah is a kickass state, and SLC and Park City is one of my favorite regions. But the claims of issues in California may be accurate, but just like with violence in Chicago, they are specific to certain areas. Not too many issues with those things in the areas of California that people want to live.

Those guys haven’t been hanging out in Malibu the last few days. They’d stick out more than you at a Mensa conference would.

Even the unsheltered population is smart enough to want to live in California.Guy on the interview said there are over 100,000 homeless in California. Again, you're just so, so bad at this. It's nice getting a compliment from you for a change. Thanks! 🙂👍
Like the guy said in the interview, you don't see the problems from where he lives either. But the downtowns are ruined. Their tax system is corrupt. Bleeding population. But the state has money But they have enctivized drug use which leads to homelessness.
Shawn Ryan said he has spent time with the military and CIA in Yemen and Afghanistan but he has never seen the size or magnitude of a homeless camp he saw in California. Said it was third world like.
Now I wonder why homeless people would want to live in California, a place renowned for its weather…Homelessness denier...
Homelessness in California - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
"The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development estimated that more than 171,500 people were homeless in California in January 2022. This represents 30% of the homeless population of the United States even though California has slightly less than 12% of the country's total population, and is the highest per capita rate in the nation, with 0.44% of residents being homeless.[1] More than two-thirds of homeless people in California are unsheltered (meaning they sleep on the streets, in encampments, or in their cars), which is the highest percentage of any state in the United States. Half of the unsheltered homeless people in the United States live in California:"
But hey, it's not a problem if I can't see them...
We could lose a couple million more before it started to cause more problems than it solves.Democrats, their policies and their bleaters are destroying our country.
California lost just shy of a million residents in 2022, 352 businesses and is among the top states in the country for homelessness and drugs. @riflearm2 claims it's all roses and sunshine.
It's all Democrats and their bleaters ever do. Deny and lie.
Is there anyone really shocked? 🙄
Now I wonder why homeless people would want to live in California, a place renowned for its weather…
They are. California taxpayers are fitting the bill to house these degenerates to the tune of +$250k a year per homeless person. It's working so well, the problem has gotten worse.Since we know you all are the best, brightest, smartest and wealthiest. Why don't you fix the problem then?
Problem solved. Easy as that.
The key thing is we don't want the rest of the country turning into this. That's why I am trying to understand what happened out there. Beautiful state. Lots of business. Now this.
It's the same thing you are seeing for any city that decides to "legalize" narcotic/ drug use. If Seattle or Portland OR were in a sunny warm part of the country, it would be worse there. If Denver didn't have cold and snow, their homeless would be worse. LA and largely SF have decriminalized drugs, homelessness, loitering and looting of stores. Any city that decriminalizes these activities led by drug legalization is asking for increased issues IMO.The key thing is we don't want the rest of the country turning into this. The polar opposite of that is the internet, where there isn’t even a risk of getting punched in the mouth.I never could get into science fiction novels but really liked the intermission sayings from Time Enough For Love by Heinlein.
