This pretty much destroys Big Dummy's argument:

Starting in 1992, Texas started gaining more seats in the house. They have gone from 27 to 38 seats. From 1992 - 2022, those additional seats (from having new districts) have accounted for 92 elections. Of those 92, 66 have gone to Democrats while 26 have gone to Republican. As their population grows, they continue to get more blue, as the presidential voting also has shown.

Even a novice political follower should know that local and state elections have far less to do with parties than national level positions.

and some states tighted up the rules. You shouldn't see that big off a drop off in one election cycle. Hell, she was the VP for 4 years and it went down by millions of votes. It just doesn't add up.

an estimate for 2024 total votes based on the trends in the above states. It looks like Kamala will end up losing about 6.6 million votes from Biden's total in 2020.

I think a whole lot of people have recently learned to listen to what scholars like us have to say. We could have gone to Georgetown if it weren't for the rampant crime.
