“A judge sentenced a former Colorado county clerk to nine years behind bars Thursday for leading a voting system data-breach scheme inspired by the rampant false claims that fraud altered the 2020 presidential outcome.

Judge Matthew Barrett handed down the sentence after jurors found Tina Peters guilty in August for allowing a man to misuse a security card to access to the Mesa County election system and for being deceptive about that person’s identity.

The man was affiliated with My Pillow chief executive Mike Lindell, a prominent promoter of false claims that voting machines were manipulated to steal the election from Trump.

Vance did well overall. I disagree with a ton of what he said but he kept the conversation largely on policy and didn’t say insane shit. I guess the phrase “common sense” tested well because he said it a lot.

Walz did fine. He looked uncomfortable sometimes but again, the mission was to be boring and he was.

If I had to pick a “winner” I guess Vance. Some of that may be him benefiting from low expectations. I don’t think very many people watched and had their mind changed on who they would vote for. Maybe Vance made himself a bit less of an anchor around Trump’s neck by going a few consecutive hours without saying anything really dumb.

Let's hope they don't get off to a fast start. In games where we've been behind after the 1st quarter we are 6-11. When we get off to a fast start and are leading after he 1st quarter under Huff we are 9-5.

In games where we've fallen behind by 10 or more going into the 4th quarter we are 2-18 under Huff.

Ok even with that you can't have every Tom dick and harry with a jeep wrangler or a surplus deuce and a half driving around acting like they know what to do. Here's the thing. There are hundreds of people missing. You don't want to add to that number because Cletus thinks he can help. There has to be a someone coordinating those efforts so you're not doubling up resources having more victims etc.

I am hearing reports of total disorganization by the feds in regard to the hurricane response. Former special operations guys were in there right after hours and days before the fed helping people. The feds can organize themselves and communicate. Now they are telling private people to get out. Former military guys are going up and down the hills in the dark a d weather looking for people reading topo maps. Now the feds are running them out.

Word is also there is a breakdown between the NC Democrat governor and the feds over federal troops coming in which is causing delays.

The federal govt is a mess. A total mess. Who is running this crap?
