Yesterday, I had a handful of tools ready to put up including a roll of green electrical tape. While I was hanging the tools, I noticed the tape had disappeared. Looked for hours and couldn’t find it. I did find four trash cans in my shed that I obviously don’t use, also found a pack of eye hooks I had been needing, but no tape.

Later, I went upstairs and there was the tape next to the sink. I hadn’t even been upstairs. I’m blaming the cat; she hates me.

This morning, I threw away a half dozen socks that have no mate. Where the hell do they go??? There has to be an alternate universe that takes these things.

Looks like a good day to mow and watch football. That is all.

I am hearing reports of total disorganization by the feds in regard to the hurricane response. Former special operations guys were in there right after hours and days before the fed helping people. The feds can organize themselves and communicate. Now they are telling private people to get out. Former military guys are going up and down the hills in the dark a d weather looking for people reading topo maps. Now the feds are running them out.

Word is also there is a breakdown between the NC Democrat governor and the feds over federal troops coming in which is causing delays.

The federal govt is a mess. A total mess. Who is running this crap?
