Piggybacking on the North Carolina town that has a statue celebrating and romanticizing slavery is this lovely state bill that will prohibit people from wearing masks for medical reasons. As the doctor who was under the Trump administration said, he has received many texts from people around the country asking him “Oh my god, what’s going on in North Carolina?”

Nice job trying to be the most despicable state, North Carolina. Mississippi, Arkansas, and West Virginia are blocking your way!

Former Surgeon General Jerome Adams, who served during the Trump administration, criticized the proposal in a thread on X, formerly Twitter. His wife has been fighting cancer for years.

“As a physician I am deeply concerned about North Carolina’s potential total ban on mask-wearing. It’s disturbing to think immunocompromised and cancer patients could be deemed criminals for following medical advice aimed at safeguarding their health,” Adams said in one post.
Wolfe and other physicians in North Carolina share the former surgeon general’s concerns.

“It’s obviously outrageous and also not a very well-thought-out approach,” said David Wohl, an infectious disease specialist at UNC Health. “This is really smacking of political point-making. People cover their faces for all sorts of reasons.”

I believe they are not going to pass it. So feel free to wear that mask and cover you face.

It was supported along party lines. So somebody stopped the Republican legislatures and had to tell them how stupid it is?

It has gone back to committee in the House. I feel if you want to wear a mask go ahead and I can laugh at you.

So their stupidity is wasting time and money of tax payers. Great work, North Carolina! You could have used that money to build another statue celebrating slavery!

That is the legislative body. The House didn't like the Senate version. None of this would be necessary but we have that idiot Democrat governor.

Let me dumb this down for you:

Every single Republican voted for it. Every single Democratic voted against it. Yet it's the Democrats' fault that it was a bill? That's some twisted logic that only a native West Virginian could come up with.

That's why what happened during covid was such a pandoras box. People shut down businesses and made mask mandates. Now the other side wants to react. I warned everyone.

No bigger waste of time and taxpayer money than the America-haters running the government in California. 30+ shithole cities, sanctuary for illegals, streets of shit, homelessness, drugs, and you're crying about North Carolina.

What a nincomshit.
