Lots to unpack here but HN has learned of four recruits who will be on campus this weekend for official visits. Instead of waiting until Friday we wanted to bring you what we know now in case things leak on Twitter before the weekend.
*** The first visitor, Keylin Roach, will be one that Marshall recently got involved with (Josh talked about the offer here). Roach was originally a 2019 recruit who spent a year at Indy CC and last year at Georgia Military College. Roach led GMC last year with 2 interceptions and started 9 games at corner. He's an immediate impact type of recruit and will be a 3 for 2 at the D1 school of his choice.
*** The second visitor is defensive tackle and current commit Jay Burrell. In my opinion Burrell is criminally underrated by Rivals. The Roanoke Times recently named him the 37th best prospect in the entire state (article here), ahead of recruits like fellow MU 3-star signee Daytione Smith.
*** The third visitor is a very interesting one in ATH Jahad Carter. Carter was once a long-time Virginia Tech commit (he chose the Hokies over the likes of Michigan, UNC and South Carolina) before enrolling at Jireh Prep in North Carolina and re-classifying to the 2020 class. Carter currently holds offers from MU, FAU and Texas Tech.
*** The 4th visitor, WR Kaleb Long, is the most highly recruited player of the bunch. Long sports offers from Florida State, Iowa, Iowa State. Ole Miss, Missouri, UNC, WVU, UCF and Georgia Tech.Carer also received an offer from Miami back in May of 2019 which is no longer listed on his profile.
