Now, on to the War Room. Remember, what is talked about in the War Room, stays on Old Fairfield.

Official Visitors:
About Wright: The massive defensive tackle from Texas has offers from Minnesota, Oregon State, Arkansas, Kansas, Marshall, Colorado State and Liberty. Wright is widely considered one of the most under-the-radar defensive lineman in the country, and has size (6-5, 285) that makes fans and coaches drool. Oregon State seems to be in the lead for the Duncanville star, but Marshall has a prime opportunity to make up ground this weekend.

About Heath: Another visitor from Texas, Heath has good size for a tight end and currently sports offers from MU, Ole Miss, San Diego State, Louisiana, Liberty, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Troy, Texas State and New Mexico. Heath unofficially visited Ole Miss last weekend.

About Compton: Compton was originally a 2019 recruit (5.7/3 star) who signed with Baylor out of high school over other offers from schools like Maryland and Houston. After leaving Baylor, Compton ended up at New Mexico Military Institute where he caught 10 balls for 144 yards in three games this spring. Compton is very well put together and would be a prime candidate to see the field early at MU.

About Zamora: Not much more needs to be said about Zamora than what has been talked about on Old Fairfield. One of two QB commits in the 2022 class, Zamora has offers from MU and FAU to his name and likely would have more if he had not shut down his recruitment after committing to MU.

About Henderson: Like Zamora, Henderson is from SC and is likely a touch underrated/recruited because of his size. That said, Henderson does have offers from MU, Akron, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Kent State, LIberty, Miami (OH), MTSU, Navy and ODU. He took an official visit to Central Michigan on 6/4 and recently camped at Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.

About Robinson: From Apopka (FL), Robinson is a wrecking ball of a linebacker prospect who reminds me of Tavante Beckett. Sporting offers from MU, Indiana, Coastal Carolina and Troy; this will be Robinson's first official visit.

About Claville: one of the taller receivers Marshall is recruiting in the 2022 class, Claville hails from Shreveport (LA) and holds offers from MU, Purdue, Tulane, Kansas, Tulane, Central Michigan and South Alabama. Claville took an OV to Central Michigan on 6/4.

About Turner: Turner committed to MU earlier this month. Originally a 2021 recruit, Turner will spend next season at Life Christian Acadmy outside of RIchmond (VA). Turner has over 20 offers to his name from schools such as Kansas, Syracuse, UVA and Vandy.

About Hill: A Gainesville (FL) native, Hill currently holds seven FBS offers from G5 schools. We chatted with HIll earlier this year after he received his MU offer: https://marshall.rivals.com/news/florida-corner-reacts-to-marshall-offer. He was high on the Herd then, and he remains high on them now. I'm putting HIll on commit watch this weekend.

About Amankwaa: Amankwaa is a very intriguing prospect who Marshall sees on the defensie side of the ball at defensive back. Amanwaa has had his visit to MU set for quite awhile (he previewed it with us here: https://marshall.rivals.com/news/jersey-athlete-set-for-trip-to-huntington) and is very high on Marshall as a program. Amankwaa was recently named the 28th best prospect in all of New Jersey and holds offers from MU, Pitt, Syracuse, Akron, Kent State, UMASS, ODU, South Alabama, JMU and Western Michigan.

About Whyce: Whyce should be a familiar name to Marshall fans. Jamaal's dad (who recently passed) played for MU on the early 2000s. Wyche recently committed to South Carolina and sources tell us it is 50/50 whether or not he takes his OV to Marshall this weekend. But until we hear otherwise, we will leave him on the list.
