A suspect was arrested in the Univ. of Georgia student slaying...

The point is the govt, lead by Mush Brains, is not protecting the border and immigration is a problem. It is a failed policy. Deflecting away from it doesn't make it not so. We are a country with a border and the Mush Brain Admin is not doing their job. This illegal who killed this woman is a prime example of a failed policy. It is about will power and direction and leadership, or lack thereof. Crime raites of illegals doesn't matter as the are here illegally. It is like someone who comes to rob your house and you say hey whle you are stealing my stuff, go ahead and grabe a cold drink from the fridge. Then, go ahead and use the spare bedroom.

This girl died because an illegal alien was in our country illegally. He had a criminal record and killed her.
Tell your House rethuglicans to pass the border bill. In the meantime the murder rate for illegal immigrants is considerably lower. How about you do something to stop that? Hypocrite.

Mush Brain is the executive. He doesn't need a border bill to do his damn job. He doesn't want to do his job.

First time entering this country illegally is a misdemeanor. Do you really want to count misdemeanors? Speeding tickets next in line to compare?
Sure go ahead and do it. I guarantee you it's not 100% of natural born citizens

And these crime rates are not consistently reported and/or collected.

Here is one such group that addresses this very thing.

"To summarize, we know little about the overall crime rate of illegal immigrants in Texas, except that it is probably understated in the DPS data. There is stronger evidence that illegal immigrants are convicted of serious offenses such as homicide and sexual assault at above-average rates, but more research is needed."

Atheists, Communists and Lawyers United: ACLU

"Federal and state privacy laws provide protections that further limit the disclosure of patient information—including immigration status–related information—to law enforcement officials."

"Or, you may be unwilling to report a crime or suspicious behavior because you don’t want to draw attention to your undocumented family members."

Heck immigration proponents have this to say about them but for different reasons...

Police Reports Are Utilized Widely In Immigration Decision-Making. They Are Inherently Unreliable And Prejudicial Documents Because:

Hmmm...

"Why does the crime rate soar among second-generation immigrants compared with their foreign-born peers?"

"Second-generation immigrants typically have higher crime rates than first-generation immigrants. In the U.S. context, however, most second-generation immigrants continue to enjoy lower crime rates than the native-born population. In stark contrast, research findings in European countries indicate that some second-generation immigrant groups have crime rates that drastically exceed those of the native-born population."
And then you have those pesky "Martians" in green that defy classification...

That’s saying that in the US second generation immigrants, while being higher than first generation immigrants, are still lower with regard to crime rate than “native born” population, right?

So, in order, you’re safest around first generation immigrants, then second generation immigrants, then “native born” people?

Sorry you don't see the reporting bias there...

Failure to report crimes. Failure to document immigration status on arrest reports. Etc.

Did you not notice the discrepancies between the US and European numbers either?

And what is the green "other" race?

Remember, I said earlier you are on EG's team. I think you are proving that yet again...

Hmmm... Maybe it depends on where the "native-born" reside...

In 2021, the rate of violent victimization in urban areas was 24.5 victimizations per 1,000 people. That’s more than double the rural area rate of 11.1.

The rate of property victimization in urban areas was 157.5 per 1,000 people. In rural areas, the rate was 57.7.

But not all crime is urban or rural. The DOJ report also tracks a third location: suburban areas. These are all census blocks not categorized as urban or rural. Those in suburban areas reported higher rates of victimization for both violent and property crime than rural areas, but lower rates than those in urban areas.

I’m literally just quoting a part of the link that you quoted.
