I say give the kid a series or two and see what he can do - and prove the shoulder is 100%

It just might be that too many people bought into the Phil Simms comments and crowned him the next great QB before he even threw one pass in practice. Seems if he was that good, more schools would have offered than just us, Baylor and UT.
That said, I'd like to see him play and hopefully he does.
 
Honestly, when I heard we were bringing him in, my first thought was “Birdsong”. It appears that I wasn’t far off.
 
I heard from a reliable source that his shoulder is ok, It's his feet that are the problem. Not nearly as mobile as IG

Rumors, rumors, rumors. What you should have heard is that AT has the fastest 40 time of all five QBs and is considered the most athletic of the bunch. I think Green has done an amazing job with mobility on some very slow feet. He somehow makes it work. But don't believe for a second that Thomson isn't mobile. He isn't being kept out of the game because of his mobility/athleticism.
