Why can't we give a company like Sherwin Williams or PPG some nice signage in and around the stadium in exchange for repainting the stadium? It's a win-win for everyone.

I kind of wish that were true. Plumber makes serious bank. I used to laugh at the kids hopping on the bus to head over to vo-tech. Now days, I wish I would have hopped on with them.
It would seem to me that the facilities management team has a running list of what needs to be done in both facilities. And I'm betting they present budgets for "getting it done" every year. The items are most likely prioritized for safety and functionality, then "looks". I'd love the "looks" part to get some attention as it is part of the selling/marketing effort of each program. And we know how little attention that sector of the athletic department gets.
