Thought the first hour was well done, then the wheels fell off. Not a bad movie, just way over-hyped. While I get the point Peele was trying to make with the underlying explanation as to the day I (at least I think I do), seems like there could have been several better ways too go about it. Plus, the plot holes are ridiculous to the point that it became hard to suspend disbelief and just enjoy the ride, which I'm capable of doing.

The critics score on RT is 94% while the audience score is 69%. When there’s that big of a discrepancy it makes you wonder. I still plan to see it but will wait until the home release.

I would recommend doing that. It's worth seeing, but not a must see at the theater.

Horror movies based around black people are not good. First of all most people know crazy white dude's are the best killers. How are you going to top Jason, Mike Meyers, Chucky, Freddy Krueger. They do have OJ but he only got two people. Second, of all black people are scared of the water. So, why would they be at the beach? Is that the horror story? Black people go to the beach? Like the black super hero. Didn't they kill him after one movie?

The real nightmare would be going to this movie. They already had a shooting near Charlotte over this.
