well it is ridiculous that we have a football team with a chance to win 10 games if we can beat U. Conn and a good number come on here every day and gripe about the season.
The fact we are 9-3 and worried about beating a 6-6 team from another G5 conference should tell you why there are complaints. Not to say a 10 win season is a bad thing, but it's an overinflated win count. Quite frankly we just aren't as good as the record would indicate.
What truth?? You think I give a shit, we won and that's all that matter at the end of the day. And last time I check winning is better than losing. I mean we could have lost but we didn't. And I don't think we should make excuses because teams on our schedule can't recruit better or care about their football program as much as we do here.

This, plus the fact that even if we were 12-0 with our sked we'd still be playing UConn in the St. Petersburg Bowl, or the rough equivalent.
But the truth is this.......We are 9-3, 8-2 with a true freshman QB, dealt with a ton of injuries, and lost our 2 senior leaders to season injuries, and an OC who hasn't discovered page 2 of his playbook and all you want to do is bitch about the other teams on our schedule??

in 2011 we had a true freshman QB, a 2nd year coach, several injuries and players dismissed, played the hardest schedule by far in MU history (#56), and we finished 7-6 with a bowl win...

At the time of us playing Kent State they had a Top 5 defense 4 games into the season after playing 2 P5 schools, not my fault they faltered after they played us but before they played us they was Top 5 and that is FACTS!!!!!

Case in point you thought KSU had a top 5 defense and you can't read Sagarian. KSU gave up 52 points to Illinois and had only played 3 games before playing us, their next two were against offensive juggernaut Minnesota and Deleware State. You don't know shit about football and much less Sagarian

I will agree that our SOS is anything but spectacular. However, for anyone to suggest that it is the 138 hardest when there are only 128 FBS teams shows me immediately that the system is flawed.Sagrin is just one measuring stick.We got along just fine for many years without it. He has admitted it is flawed and I agree with him. There are not 10 FCS schools that have played a harder schedule than us. We probably deserve to be in the low 100's I would agree. At the end of the day if you play in a G5 it is hard to do much better. For the record last time I looked they rank teams based on how many wins you get not how hard your schedule is. Ask Coach dude at wvu how that hard SOS is helping him. Last I heard he was on the hot seat.
