Houston went 12-1 with the 92 ranked schedule FYI and they are in the Access Spot

there is no way we would be in the access bowl this season at 13-0 over 12-1 Houston... none... they have 2 P5 wins and 3 wins over top 25 teams. their schedule is 46 spots higher as well...

we were unbeaten and behind a 2 loss Boise team last year...

No, we wouldn't. That's the whole point. Our schedule is so bad the playoff committee (or whoever makes the call) would find a way to slip someone else into the access bowl slot. This year Houston or whoever else won the AAC.

I feel like we jump Boise last year without the wku choke. To your point, with our schedule and league the past two years we likely need two less losses over next G5 to get access

More troubling than who we play is the fact we managed to lose 3 and only beat one with winning record

i'm somewhat confident (hey, you never know) that had we finished unbeaten last year we would have been in over 2 loss Boise. i think the public outcry would have been strongly in our favor and swayed the "committee" accordingly...
