I was in attendance vs ETSU in ‘91?......it was electric in the Cam that night. “Off the hook” would not become a saying until about 15 years later .....
We also beat Cincy down there in one of TH's first two seasons. I thought that they were ranked in the top 25 at that time. A game or two later we lost a close one to a highly ranked Syracuse team in the Dome; 5 or 6 points IIRC.
I too am concerned with Penava ...he seems to have disappeared the past few games. Not too many points from him and few rebounds. The success of this team starts with him and his wing span. He has to perform well in Frisco & STAY OUT OF FOUL (stupid fouls too) TROUBLE for us to have a decent chance winning the CUSA Belt.

Obviously the success of the team did not start with him at MTSU. He was in foul trouble the entire game. When he was in game, which was not for long periods of time, I though he played pretty good. Big step for team to win big game without major contribution from AP. Williams mainly, and George stepping up in his absence were huge.
