The tea party radicals have made Boehner's job nearly impossible. I suspect the next guy in line will find it no easier. If they shut down the government again, they may lose both houses.

The republicans will not lose either House in 2016.

I suspect they will lose the Senate, but probably not the House. Different map for the upcoming election than in 2014.
