This what what happens when the clowns run a circus…

Any journalist worth their salt would absolutely write an article with that info
I said real American. If you got info accidentally on an American operation you would write it about it? I would keep my damn mouth shut.

There was no classifieds info in. the chat

Give Dems their 24 hours to try to get someone over it.

I don’t take anything you say out of context. I repeat what you claim and point out it’s fallacy.

Yes, it may be a f*ck up. Is it as serious an issue as was initially portrayed? “War planning”…appears to not be fully truthful.
No, you attempt to take what I say out of context and then imply it's wrong. You follow that up with name calling. You do to anyone you disagree with. It's your pattern.

I am not defending it. Screw up but not a major thing of clean the whole cabinet out
Can't clean the whole cabinet but how major it is will depend on why they were using the Signal app and exactly what they discussed.

Signal is common amongst certain govt groups and some military stuff. They have already stated there was nothing sensitive discussed.

Well of course they are going to say that but don't you think inadvertently alerting a reporter two hours ahead of a military attack is pretty d*mn sensitive? You are downplaying it.

Maybe that's it but maybe there's more. Let's see what comes out.

The attack had already likely happened. That the way it works.

There is not really more to it. Not sure what I am down playing. I said it was a mistake, but it was nothing that gave away an attack or sensitive info.

President Donald Trump revealed that a staffer with national security advisor Mike Waltz's office included the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic in a Signal group chat with senior Trump officials who were discussing plans for an upcoming strike on Houthi rebels in Yemen.

"It was one of Michael’s people on the phone. A staffer had his number on there," Trump told NBC in a phone interview when asked how Jeffrey Goldberg, the Atlantic's editor-in-chief, was added to the high-profile chat.

The president added that Goldberg's inclusion in the group chat had "no impact at all" on the strike in Yemen.

No, it hadn't.

“Look, I’m going to be responsible here and not disclose the things that I read and saw. I will describe them to you,” Goldberg said during an interview with MSNBC's Inside with Jen Psaki hours after news of the breach initially surfaced. “The specific time of a future attack; specific targets, including human targets meant to be killed in that attack; weapon system; even weather reports.
“I mean, the precise detail, and then a long section on sequencing: ‘This is gonna happen, then that is gonna happen. After that happens, this happens, then that happens, and then we go and find out if it worked’,” he added.
“It’s interesting because as I’m reading it at 11:44 a.m. on Saturday morning, the 15th, seeing that the Houthis are not going to know about this for another couple of hours, and I know about it, and I’m thinking to myself, I mean, honestly, I’m thinking to myself, well, I’m glad that Mike Waltz didn’t invite a Houthi into the group or a Russian spy or an adversary of the United States,” he added.

Again, I didn't have to take you out of context. Your words are there for all to see. So are your accusations and how they've changed throughout the thread.

Should someone be fired/demoted. Possibly. But watching the media attempt a pitiful "war plans" narrative and comparing this to Ms. Clinton email server scandal is hilarious.

What's even more hilarious? You... "liking" a thread using the "But Hillary..." comparison and failing to question "why does every trump discussion have to be compared to a past (Dem) failure" the way we you deflected on past threads discussions the last couple of weeks? NVM. Your hypocrisy is known and accepted.

Apparently, it's not accepted because you keep whining about it.

And to think this guy wouldn't notify anyone in the administration? Wouldn't exit the thread knowing he was reading a private military/govt discussion, being included in error? But runs to MSNBC with the scoop. This guy apparently has the same lack of character as a spy.
Apparently, it's not accepted because you keep whining about it.
Sure it is. Low hanging fruit, easy to pick.

The only people who are whining are the democratic lawmakers demanding resignations.

Funny as hell...." It was an outrageous threat to our military and national security!"

Look morons the only person in that group who would have disclosed any information is the extreme left journalist.

No one else would have disclosed any info. Basically, what these morons are saying is you cannot trust any, "Left-leaning journalist not to disclose secret information."

Yep, we know you can't.

So let's say this is 100% true. What do you feel should happen? Should Waltz step down? Should Trump step down? Should VP, step down? Have another election?

What should happen here?

There is not jack shit in those text messages.

Like I said if there were who runs and tells other than a no good reporter? If anyone here stumbled onto the plans for the D Day invasion or raid to get Ben Laden would your write an article about it? Or, would you quietly tell those you received it from, hey you ****ed up? I know what I would do.

Reality is those text messages don't have jack shit in them and this pinko reporter is stirring it up.

First, if the roles were reversed, you can bet your a$$ the right, and you, would be melting down and demanding resignations.

I watched part of the hearings today. If some of what is alleged to have been shared is true, d*mn straight someone should resign. If none of that is true, then it's an entirely different conversation. Right now, it appears plans including targets and timing were shared ahead of the attack.

I know the talking points are, "Nothing classified was shared, blame the journalist, and talk about the success of the attack." but no one in America other than the extreme MAGA folks is accepting that. People, including Republicans, want answers.

The most serious issue remains the same, why are the most powerful people on this planet short of the President using a 3rd party texting app to discuss official U.S. business, classified or not? That's ludicrous!

Nobody resigned or was fired over the Afghanistan debacle.

Democrats can go throw stones somewhere else.

The incompetence of this administration certainly does defy logic!

What would you consider an entire party impeaching a president for a lie said party made up?

Benghazi?

Afghanistan?

Our borders?

Men can have babies?

Men competing as a woman?

Men showering and changing in a women's locker room?

Provocative drag shows for children?

Mutilating children in an impossible (100% failure rate) task of changing their sex?

Prevent deportation of illegal gang members?

Etc, etc, etc...?

You want to talk incompetence and clowns? Seriously....Please.

It was a third party messaging app that the cia director was instructed to use. It's a third party app that people on your side like jasmine crockett use. Don't act like it's 2002 and you left an aol instant message up

Did you watch when the left lied about Russia Collusion and in fact, purchased the story from a fake dossier to impeach Trump?

That's a clear and blatant attack on Democracy. We're you on here demanding resignations, demanding answers and justice?

Maybe you were one cheering it on? I don't know.

When the facts came out, were you pissed and wanting those involved to resign?

The best part of all of this is watching the left act like they've got something when they know they don't.

"Clutching pearls" is the best analogy I've seen so far.

They're on pins and needles looking for a "gotcha" moment instead of appreciating what this administration is doing for our country, while fighting Democrats the whole way. One would think Democrats aren't on America's team and instead America's enemy....🤔

you desperate fools. Perfectly clear there was no classified information. A staffer screwed up and entered a contact list with this reporter's contact on their chat list.

Supposedly there is more that Goldberg has but wont release. He's definitely not been the most credible source when reporting on Trump. Sounds like the FBI needs to start looking into this guy and Walz's assistant who added him to the group.

I am seriously wondering why a guy who admits to thinking, "Glad I'm not a Houthi on this text thread" didn't think to actually text, "I have been included in this text thread in error. I am leaving it now." and immediately contact someone in the administration and/or intelligence org and report what had happened.

A reporter gets inside info on a military op. Absolutely no way would they walk away from that. I don't care who they are. The Edward r Murrow are long gone. Journalist only care about their name

The information, routes, etc could have been provided to the Houthi’s and they could have done nary a thing about it. It’s like a chad Pennington fade route to Randy in endzone. You know what’s coming but you are hapless to do anything about it.

Especially if you’re Goldberg. He definitely isn’t known for his ethics or journalistic integrity.

If "Trump has already given you the green light so if you are ready to go then go" is war plans
Targets, team and times sent before the planes had even taken off. If whoever got that info had given it to the Houthis, or just published it and they’d read it, they could’ve been prepared and the op could’ve been a disaster.

how do you know that for a fact?

At minimum, Walz needs shit-canned for this. But the real question is, who the fvck added this activist reporter to the chat to begin with?

By all accounts a staffer. Now it needs to be determined why they did it? Mistake ? Intentional ? Screw up. I have contended all along there is more to this story. As I said, originally, things are not always as they seem.

I don’t believe that for a second. That’s the spin. Just like the spin to blame the journalist or act this wasn’t classified information.

The CIA, NSA and Pentagon all within the last 60 days warned against using the Signal app and gave guidelines that clearly were not followed.

My concern, did someone hack the group and add the journalist in an effort to demonstrate the vulnerability of the app?

If the WH were smart, they would admit it’s a major F up and apologize. Hegseth at minimum should resign and we would move on.

Not good that a reporter was included but these do show skillful thought process by National Security team discussion. The actual war plans are with the pentagon. This is just discussion. If actual targets, weapon types gps or maps were involved it might be a problem. The houthis still couldn’t have done a darn thing about it to US Forces.
