They ran a test sample of pilots from the major us carriers through this scenario in the simulators and they all passed and knew what to do and they go through it as part of their training. Flip that shit off and fly it. If I put a guy from the local dirt track who runs hobby stockers in an Indy car he is going to put that shit in the wall.
