Show the other corners... the ones on the side of the field where the students sit. I'm tied up now, but give me a day or two and I'll find it and post it for you.

The Legislature has more important worries than to force WVU and Marshall to play basketball. The state is $100 million dollars in the red for the current fiscal year due to low energy prices and Obama's successful war on coal.

Wyoming has been doing well when it comes to coal.

Why do we (Marshall) really care? WVU brings nothing of relevance to our program! Don't believe me? Go back and look at our football history. The years we were successful they were were an after thought.Don't need them for scheduling, see Purdue, Pitt, Louisville, NC State, and Boise.

As to basketball, if we as Marshall fans truly care about playing the almighty Mountaineers, then there should be more than 3,000 of us making that 45 minute trip to Charleston. To me that proves the majority of our fans (myself included) are not going to lose sleep of the loss of this series.

Lets move on, quit giving them what they want which is a sense of superiority, and work on building our National Brand Name. Meanwhile let them continue to play in a conference where they are on a Island by themselves, NEVER will win a conference championship in football or basketball.

Good points. Marshall really should be scheduling to its own needs just as does West Virginia. If you want to delude yourselves into thinking we should somehow be jealous because we play Texas and you play Rice, have at it. But, more importantly, Hamrick has found some programs that are willing to play a game at a mid major stadium and if I were you I would appreciate that too. I think he is doing a great job there in that regard. West Virginia does not do that, so he has moved on and found programs that do and that is to his credit.

sell·out
ˈselˌout/
noun
  1. 1.
the selling of an entire stock of something, especially tickets for an entertainment or sports event.

Some seats with no bodies. They may be in the restroom, or out in the parking lot. Maybe they didn't even go to the game, or perhaps left early.
Point is, more tickets were sold than the capacity of the stadium.
    SELLOUT.

So what you are saying is that the fans in this section all had to piss, get a hot dog, needed a water that wasn't there, showed up late, were drunk in the parking lot, eating at Arby's, etc,....but the other fans were all piss free, not hungry, sober, etc.....

Or, this section sucked to watch the game and the ticklets were not sold.

I can't wait for this explanation.

This is a Pitt tactic....sell remaining tickets fior 35 cents a seat to a company, corporartion, donor, etc,,,, and count as a sold ticket.....whether or not they ever showed up. WVU counts turnstile.....because we don'r suck.

what are you talking about the game was a sell out. Where you there? I was so stand down rookie. It was a hot day and the concourse was absolutely jam packed. So at any given time you would have people up moving around. We have already provided a pixel of the game to shut you chumps up. I will see if I can find it, I tell you the insecurity of eer fans is amazing to me. You are not the only team we have played in a sold out stadium so get over it.

Here it is now go away;

well using your example it is worse than I thought. Empty seats everywhere in the upper decks, especially the corners. Were you 5k short....no. However it is obvious that this was not a "turnstile" sell out. It is ok...remember one of your cohorts above bragged about selling out the joan 14 times in 17 years. Getting close is ok by me....good job.

what are you smoking dude I just provided a pic of "one moment at the game. People were standing or sitting shoulder to shoulder from top to bottom side to side. There was one tiny spot in one quarter above the Purdue fans where it looked like maybe 25-30 seats were open at that moment. Like I said the day was hot and 100's of people were up and trying to find shade, using the bathroom standing in line for something to drink or some were in the parking lot having an adult beverage. I dont know what else to say. There was easily over 38,000 plus fans at that game. I will say that at the expanded capacity I think we have only sold it out against wvu 2 times and Purdue.

Considering there is no upper decks, just shut up

I was @ the Purdue game total sell out. Maybe standing room. I was also @ the WVU game in 2010. In TheJoan. Yes big crowd but it was less spacious in the fourth quarter as the fair weather wvu fans left, then tried to get back in. It was funny and odd to see. They were just quitters, loaded the couches and left.

If I might add? Just tired of the wvu bunch. I've been to Morgantown for a couple of games. I just can't honestly understand how wvu "fans" treat fans from thier own state. Beer cans thrown, liquor bottles thrown, F you , more then several times. But probably PA residents, MD residents. Surely we wouldn't turn in our own. Country Roads was not written for Morgantown. It's a hostile place. In my job, which covers several states. We take care of our own, not in Morgantown, I as an adult can take the abuse, when direct at my 7 year old?? Really? I understand we are G5 but I think wvu has an inferiority complex. Thus the profiling continues.
With all that said. Go Herd beat UCONN. I just enjoy football. Catus bowl ? That's a go to game. wvu accepts a bowl game which is a home game for the Opponet . How much power does wvu hold. Marshall accepted a bowl game against a Florida team in the Beef O Brady Bowl and beat their butt . How low, just how low can wvu go. Maybe next year they will be in Australia for the Australia football league.
