The president’s recent tweet repeated the same blatant lack of understanding between climate and weather. He was being called out and ridiculed by children. This wasn’t the first time he has been called out, so it’s almost like he’s trolling. But as this thread is a testament, it doesn’t matter how many times the misstatements are corrected. They will just be repeated down the road as if facts are irrelevant and the truth doesn’t matter.

Scientist absolutely do not say that. No single weather event is ever used as definitive evidence. Looking at climate and weather events over periods of time has always been the standard.

I've never heard a science person say "every" thing is climate change. They do say it may intensify events, which is a no shit sort of statement.
