Would like to see if anyone would like to make a crazy prediction on Marshalls starting roster-- Whos starting or better yet who loses their starting spot. Hey its a long off season so lets make it fun. WARNING --- Some of these predictions might sound crazy but its all fun. I will start off by predicting that AJL will not be a staring wideout by midway thru the upcoming season. He has potential but we have alot of playmakers at WR and AJL looks to not have alot of agility, he looks way to stiiff out there with little but no turn in his hips. I predict Mcmanus and Foster on lock, but any preditction on who could be the starter on the other side if not AJL. If id guess id like to introduce BEAL. Anyone else on a shocker for fun

Wow i apparently had a brain freeze i forgot all about Allen i was thinking he was a sr last year, wow we are stacked at wideout

Here's a thought worth pondering: does McManus move back to TE with Frohnapfel graduating? Ask that kid from NIU he de-cleated in the bowl game, he'll tell you: a man that size has no business playing all the way out at Y.

Of course the way our offense works, the TE is just a specialized receiver - kind of the polar opposite of the slot - so in some ways it doesn't matter, all these guys share snaps. Be a good time to say this name too: Ryan Yuracheck looks like the real deal as well.

All these froshes, if we can even just find a half-way serviceable D-II QB on our roster, he should have a hell of a statistical career at Marshall.

He has no business out at the Y position? He is not a TE. He struggled at TE which is why Yurachek was playing over him before he replaced Allen after he went down at Akron.

Just because he decleated a WR that was not expecting it does not mean he will be a good blocker. It's a lot different when the DE or LB is just as ready as you are to make contact.

He is a WR. If he would have went on to WVU he would have never been a thought at TE. Our fans just aren't used to seeing top level P5 recruits up close. It's like making a kid the center on the basket all team because he's the tallest even though he's really a SF.

After ODU Doc said McManus will be left outside and said he probably never should have had him at TE because his play was night and day at each position.

He had been practicing at TE since he got here and couldn't crack the two deep. Hasn't oracticed at WR prior to Allen going down and in his first game he sees action on the outside he's a stud.

Yes let's take one of our biggest advantages away by taking him away from his natural position.

Emanuel Byrd is being brought in to play TE and Dunnon may get a look there. There are some more recruits yet to commit that ate potential TEs.

I agree Bleeds...he is a WR. Just because he has size doesn't mean he can't play wide receiver. It is time we got some size at WR and make it tough on the CB. I love the height we are bringing in at WR too. It seems we have moved some kids around on defense at times that seem like head scratchers just like McManus. I am glad Doc moved him back and even admitted that it was probably wrong to move him to TE.

I am pumped about next year and can't wait for spring practice.

I think there is a good chance we see Chase Litton under center. Kid is talented, and being on campus already will definitely help him get acclomated. I just hope everyone can stay eligible and out of trouble going into next year.

Didn't know he had previous issues? Or you just hoping out loud?

I like Birdsong but we'll be fine with either. Gunnar will be serviceable as well.

We are stacked at wide out big time. Just hope the OL and DL will be solid.

Not directed at him. I just meant everyone in general. Litton did attend Atlanta sports academy to improve on his academics and athletics, but have never seen any bad press on him, other then USF saying he was high maintenance and liked being in the spotlight. But then again, don't you want a QB that likes being in the spotlight?

Good to know. I hadn't heard anything and that's good.

i'm not posting it here, but if you look there is bad press about him out there. hopefully, it was a youthful mistake and past him.

Allen, McManus, Foster, and Yuracheck. Put Devon in the backfield and rotate AJL in.

That just shouldn't be allowed. Unfair.

Chase Litton's issues were covered on here when he committed. He has had a year off from school, dead time to get in trouble if he was inclined to. I think that does the speaking.
