He was traded about last night around 8 o'clock to the Padres for a catcher. The deal isn't a surprise, as Straily was out of minor league options so Houston couldn't keep him if he didn't make the 25-man opening day roster and he was in a neck and neck battle for that final spot. So it made sense to move him instead of just lose him outright. But, he really wanted to stay with the Astros.
