After reading everyone's opinion on DD's future; watching and/or attending all the games and giving this some careful consideration - I wouldn't mind DD getting another year as head coach. But, only if he replaces at least half of his assistants. He needs assistants that can evaluate talent and have a passion for recruiting (i.e - look at Huff's recruiting philosophy - "Never a day off"). Tubby Smith lost his job at UK because he refused to replace long-time assistants that no longer wanted to put in the time recruiting.
Not saying Marshall will ever be able to land the 5 star players - but, the assistants should be able to identify as good as, or better than, out peers. The assistants need to find the players - then DD needs to close the deal.
If the current assistants can't, or won't, identify talent and do a better job of recruiting that talent - and DD won't replace them - then I have no problem with DD being replaced.
