Road games might be a factor with travel, but if you think an almost full stadium of 30k is going to do anything to hurt NCST you’re crazy. They’ve been to Clemson and Blacksburg. It’s not going to affect them in any way to play at the Joan.
What I’m afraid of is i DO think we go to South Carolina and actually compete well and maybe even win. But if that game ultimately ends up being a heartbreak loss, It might hurt us at home right after that.
I think much hinges on how this OC does and how deep the playbook is. SC will see pretty much what we have, but can we switch it up at all for NC State?
Hope you are correct Chris---but I would not hold my breath! How The HERD performs at S. Carolina and home to NC State will determine "how many fans get on the band wagon."
