I posted a thread on Herd Nation several days ago about going back to Huntington for a Marshall game. After the game, I stopped at a Menard’s on the way home. What a wonderful store.

It is big and bright and has everything in the line of building supplies. I even bought a small wood window for a new structure I am building. Why have I never heard of this place before? I don’t believe I can ever go back to our dinky, dreary Lowe’s again. I may have to move to Barboursville where I can wander the aisles of Menard’s for the rest of my days.

Menard's is a an odd store. You can get anything from roof shingles to Heinz ketchup.

Yes it is. I’m sort of an eclectic / eccentric person so that must be why I’m drawn to that place.

More like an upscale Lowe’s or Home Depot. Cleaner, brighter, more organized.
