Have tried here at the Carolina coast. No ASM channel or internet to be found. Listening on Gameday App on Iphone.
We're basically letting one guy on the ODU team best us. Take Freeman out of the game and it's a different game. I'm not sure why D'antoni is not doubling this guy...

Yep, we lead the league in steals. Get serious. We get more fast break points than most anyone. That comes from defense setting it up. They practice that every day in practice.
Some of the problem / disconnect is a matter of perception. When a team plays up-tempo, there are more possessions, more opportunities, and increase in scoring for both teams. Steals, points off of turnovers, and point differential are more meaningful than ave. defense (scoring) for teams that play fast.
With that said - there are times where the Herd defense is like a sieve. To their credit, the Herd has been able to respond in kind.

Nope I'll take it and say we are the worst defensive team I have seen. We do not deny the entry to the post at all. We wave at guys inside never bodying up.
We have 2 big time players who will not play defense.
This game should not have been close.
Have you noticed that our bigs are in foul trouble nearly every game? I go to practice every week. They play defense exactly the way they are coached. As was stated above, Danny knew what to do with Freeman but didn't want to change too soon for a reason.
You need the Sports Pack. With DirecTV you get your local regional sports network(s) (in Huntington that means Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and, for reasons that escape me, Cleveland) in the basic package. You can pay extra for the Sports Pack and get everybody else's RSNs.
Multiple RSNs will pick up American Sports Network content if they have no local games at that time.
If you have the current receiver, just set up a season subscription to Marshall Basketball and then look at your upcoming recordings to get the channel numbers for future games.
Exactly, we don't beat anyone if Taylor and Kelly have to sit and watch.. Their timid defense is because they have been told to avoid fouls.. We don't have a lot of depth we go about 6 deep.. We have to be smart about when we choose to be agressive defensively.. Plus as others have mentioned the fast paced style we play with skews ppg.. Our defense does break down sometimes and we give up some big runs at times, again I think that mainly goes to our lack up depth.. But, make no mistake this was a huge win for the Herd.. Going 3-1 on this road trips was impressive.. This is a team that won 1 league game on the road a year ago.. They just won 3 in the 10 days! Factor in that at ODU is a tough place to win (they had like a 38 game home winning streak going until UAB narrowly beat them a couple of weeks ago).. And we had to take a bus from Charlotte to Norfolk because of weather and I thought our guys were fantastic yesterday! We let Freeman get his but we knew one guy wasn't going to be able to beat us.. No one else did much at all for them offensively

Agreed 'Meister. I like the way this team is playing offensively. The spacing is excellent, Elmore really does a nice job distributing the ball as do all the other players. I fuss about quick shots at times but this team plays well in the open court and in the free flowing offense we run.
Plus all this high scoring we have done lately has come with Loop being an almost non factor offensively, other than drawing a lot of attention from opposing defenses. Just think what would happen if he regains his shooting touch to any extent in the next few games. Would love to seem him "go off" against MTSU and UAB this week before a couple of large, wild crowds at the Henderson Center!!!!!
