Key faulty logic is "in that circumstance." When it comes to overall intelligence - more than just knowledge of one skill, but rather, the overall success in life based on intelligence - the left dominates. More, pertaining to higher-level intelligence like being able to determine who one should vote for and why - the left dominates, again.
Hell, go watch interviews of people who go to rallies from both parties and tell us who is more intelligent. With the left, the only knock you can find are the 20 year old emotionally unstable females. On the right, the laughs run through the entire gamut of supporters.
