Nothing. This is Marshall- Htgn, WV. A victim mentality is bred into the culture.
It is winter. On the football side, there is little to be said. We finally have shed ourselves of the .600 level coach. Something that we should have done a year ago, and frankly someone who never should have been hired in the first place. Hopefully the self-appointed cabal that went around the AD to do so has learned its lesson. Everyone has an opinion about this or that transferee or incoming freshman, but no one really knows anything.
The men's basketball token effort is well on its way to .500, which is the goal. Really nothing to write about. The women are probably heading for .600 or so, which is also unworthy of much mention.
Spring brings baseball and the CS crony coach who was fired from his last job. Nothing much there. Hearing the softball team might be good, but who really cares? Soccer plays some unofficial games, which they usually win.
All I know is CH free football, meaning winning football, starts next fall.
Wow. I guess when you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Been calling the basketball team a token effort for many decades, as, well, that is what it is.
How someone got that out of this, I have no idea. Sad really.
