i have no words

It is not military bravo. IT is the reality of the situation. I am not for jumping into every corner of the Earth. But, we have a problem and it has to be solved.
Didn't prove your point. When Germany was the enemy, we didn't attack Finland.

No, we first went to Africa and then Europe with a mainland invasion of France. We fought them on every corner of the Earth.

We, along with the allies, annihilated them. Total Victory was the motto.

But there were actually Germans in Tunisia.
There is no evidence of terrorists being in Iraq.

Sure is. But he doesn't have the option of a do over for Bush.

So, he is not dealing with the task at hand. Plus, he pulled the troops out of Iraq that led to ISIS. He went against what his general's and national security experts suggested.

That depends on whether you want to patrol the middle East forever. I don't.
Once again, he pulled the troops out of Iraq according to the agreement signed by Bush.

So Obama was too stupid to understand the job had not yet been completed and couldn't change the timeline to allow more time for more improvement in the region??? More evidence he is a gutless incompetent who cared more about political stump speeches and a refusal to take on the responsibility of leadership. To use the excuse of a 3 year old plan/timeline is pathetic and weak

So, he could not listen to his generals, the Iraqi's in charge, and most everyone else when they said, sir, we should not pull all these troops out at this time because it will lead to major issues?

That is not being a leader and Obama said he was going to do it all along. He ignored the subject matter experts, even some he had appointed. Then, it festered and he still did nothing.

The military leaders did not want to stay if our soldiers would be under Iraqi law. That was the deal. It was a deal breaker from what I've read. Furthermore, Isis is the result of us invading Iraq. All this is on the bush administration. They had zero exit strategy.

Iraq was stable(as Iraq could be) until Obama pulled the troops out. That is pretty common knowledge.

Is he ever responsible for everything? Again, his generals told him they did not recommend leaving like we did. He ignored them.

If we had stayed there another 10 years Iraq would have deteriorated when we left the same way it has now. I told you this probably 6-8 years ago. The generals did not want to remain in Iraq if our soldiers were to be under Iraqi law. That was a deal breaker.

And do not think it could have been worked out where they would not have been under Iraqi law? Hello...Helloo

President Barack Obama’s announcement on Friday that all 40,000 U.S. troops still in Iraq will leave the country by New Year’s Eve will, inevitably, draw howls of derision from GOP presidential hopefuls — this is, after all, early election season. But the decision to leave Iraq by that date was not actually taken by President Obama — it was taken by President George W. Bush, and by the Iraqi government.

In one of his final acts in office, President Bush in December of 2008 had signed a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with the Iraqi government that set the clock ticking on ending the war he’d launched in March of 2003. The SOFA provided a legal basis for the presence of U.S. forces in Iraq after the United Nations Security Council mandate for the occupation mission expired at the end of 2008. But it required that all U.S. forces be gone from Iraq by January 1, 2012, unless the Iraqi government was willing to negotiate a new agreement that would extend their mandate. And as Middle East historian Juan Cole has noted, “Bush had to sign what the [Iraqi] parliament gave him or face the prospect that U.S. troops would have to leave by 31 December, 2008, something that would have been interpreted as a defeat… Bush and his generals clearly expected, however, that over time Washington would be able to wriggle out of the treaty and would find a way to keep a division or so in Iraq past that deadline.”

But ending the U.S. troop presence in Iraq was an overwhelmingly popular demand among Iraqis, and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki appears to have been unwilling to take the political risk of extending it. While he was inclined to see a small number of American soldiers stay behind to continue mentoring Iraqi forces, the likes of Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, on whose support Maliki’s ruling coalition depends, were having none of it. Even the Obama Administration’s plan to keep some 3,000 trainers behind failed because the Iraqis were unwilling to grant them the legal immunity from local prosecution that is common to SOF agreements in most countries where U.S. forces are based.

So, while U.S. commanders would have liked to have kept a division or more behind in Iraq to face any contingencies — and, increasingly, Administration figures had begun citing the challenge of Iran, next door — it was Iraqi democracy that put the kibosh on that goal.

So Obama failed??? no surprise there

So President Obama isn't responsible for bringing home the troops as he claimed. Only when the shit hits the fan does the commander and coward try and blame the guy that was out of office for over 6 years after the "JV team" moved in.

Every freakin' General and security expert has said, we didn't leave enough troops behind and that vacuum created ISIS and let it spread.

So, you approve of allowing our soldiers to be subject to Iraqi laws, right?
I approve of a commander in chief with balls and resolve. Not one that deflects blame and won't make the tough decisions.

We could have left troops that were not under Iraqi law. Obama didn't want to leave them there. Then, didn't deal with ISIS until they were large enough and a real problem. You know the "jv team" remark?

How could we have left troops there not under Iraqi law?

I certainly am.
I have some questions I'd certainly like you to answer. Do you pay a living wage and / or encourage your employees to unionize? Since they work around sharp objects do you provide pretty good health insurance?

From what I can recall, it's 12 bucks an hour and you sign up for Medicaid. Take it or leave it. If you learn how to use a computer, you can drive down the road a couple miles to Directv's call center and do better, but computers can be difficult.

I see. So you set up a democracy in iraq, and then treat them like a colony.
EG, come on, answer the questions. Do you pay a living wage and / or encourage your employees to unionize? Since they work around sharp objects do you provide pretty good health insurance?

He's just trying to be nice. That's why a lot of people vote Democrat. They buy into the utopia. I'm surprised men buy into it, but today's man is a sackless minion owned by his wife so this is what you get.

I see. So you set up a democracy in iraq, and then treat them like a colony.
No, but you don't just pull out and let it go to hell. We will have to go back and dig into a deeper mess. Obama didn't want to deal with it on his watch. He caused it.

I'll say it again, you don't create a democracy and then treat it like a colony. The Iraqi government said if the military stays then its under their law. The military brass said no. This ENTIRE mess is on Bush.

Speaking of someone in a lead role answering for how things under them are run, EG do you pay your employees a living wage and/or encourage them to unionize? Considering your employees work around sharp objects and could seriously injure themselves working for you, do you provide pretty good health insurance?

Yehh right. You are one person that thinks so. Obama sat back and did nothing. NOTHING other than let ISIS take control of territory our men and women fought for. That is a fact and he will go down as a foreign affairs and national defense disaster.

No. He will not go down as a disaster in either. History will not be written by you or your gop revisionists. Iraq is all on Bush.

Bush won't answer for Iraq. Speaking of someone else who also won't answer, hey EG, do you pay your employees a living wage and/or encourage them to unionize? How about the fact your employees could seriously injure themselves working for you - do you provide pretty good health care?

why don't you right wing clowns tells us about your employees and all
your high salaries and benefits you doll out, instead of all the noise about
eg and his.

eg at least meets a payroll and runs a successful business all you clowns work for someone
else or are self employed in the life insurance "business".
and no more b.s fxslts you cant even put a grammatically correct sentence
together most times.
there would be no isis if not for bush and all you cheerleaders running around
holding go to war rally's around he country, calling all of those who were correct in calling
bush and the cons out on your bogus war terrorist lovers.

if i took all your iq's added them up and multiplied by 10 you still would register as retarded.
yes i said retarded - if that offends you politically correct right wing piss ants - then good!

i don't know how you morons got so far away from isis codifying into their laws and tenets
rape and slavery. you always wind up chasing your tail around in circles trying to defend
your indefensible ideology. give it up, no one believes you, you are only fooling yourselves.
