Well, how is it then?

From the outside looking in, it appears everyone is caught up in all kinds of waste. With all the necessities pretty much guaranteed, the only thing to strive for is the pursuit of the consumption of your favorite sources of entertainment.

Is that it, they want ballgame tickets and car trips? If they start giving that away then I'm going to start sleeping in and skipping some meetings and other stuff at work.

That's because welfare people make as much money as wealthy ceo's, plus those on welfare don't have to work and can afford expensive drugs, buy steak and shrimp with their food stamps , drive Cadillacs, and live in condos on the beach.

They have what they need just like I do. I have money to buy some of this extra stuff. Not quite as exquisite as your Christmas list, but I've thought about a few more luxuries.

So far, I've decided against them.

Steak and shrimp just don't sound as good as a cheeseburger or a chicken sandwich. Cadillacs are no bigger than my Impala. The way I see it, the better deal would be to just drive twice as much with my Impala. The beach? Too hot, too bright, probably can't make it back to Ohio in time for the ballgame. I'd rather not go.

What kind of utilities and medicine are you talking about?

I would never expect anyone to just give me free cable, telephone, cell phone, internet and some kind of expensive medicine to fight off a complex, terminal illness. Just costs too much. If that's my predicament, then it's time for me to go. I'll get the cheapest pain meds I can get ahold of and wait for the end.

What I don't get is who gets free cable and internet? Surely no section 8 plan provides that. Electric and Water yes but Section 8 doesn't cover for Cable and Internet. And with medicare, they get the generic(die slow) medicince

Look every smartphone, tablet, laptop has tracking devices in them so the government and track you, watch you, and listen to you. Ever since I read that report and listen to the claims, I cancelled my cell phone. I haven't been without a phone in 3 months now and I feel great. I don't use a credit card at all. If I don't have it, I don't have it and will wait till pay day or money I make in Atlantic City once or twice a month. The only landline phone and email I use is the one at work. And this is the only forum I use. I love how life is since I detached myself from Cell phone technology

My mother in law who died the night of the miami of ohio opening game got 80 dollars a month foodstamps. A phone came with it. When she died my wife called to tell them to cut it off. They said it will be cut when my mother in law doesnt re-up for her stamps. She worked her whole life and worked in factories in huntington during world war ll and drew 700 a month. Well its been two years and that phone still has time. Cant even give it back
