The irony is that her incompetence will have accomplished something that her leadership never could: filling the coffers with cash. 11 departures at $3M each brings in $33M, while adding 5 more at maybe $2M each is 10 more. The remaining (left out) schools should demand a huge portion of that if they stay.

IMHO,

WKU and MTSU should look to the MAC. No body wants to hear this, but the MAC will lose programs when the ESPN $$ run out. Being proactive and adding in two teams that fit geographically, can keep its numbers legitimate.

UTEP (and NMSU) fit geographically in the MWC. The MWC simply doesn’t want them because they have a history of not being able to compete with those schools. They really don’t fit anywhere else.

FIU should drop football and get in a geographically logical basketball only conference.

LTU does NOT fit in the MWC. It really is left holding the bag, I don’t know what to say about it.
