One scenario is he’s leaving because the university says they don’t want him. The other scenario is Huff getting taken away because Marshall didn’t lock him up prior to him being free to sign anywhere.

Marshall will spin it to their advantage. The truth is you have a coach who won a conference championship in his 4th year, in what is regarded as the best G5 conference, and the AD let him get away. Spears is in way over his head and needs to go.

I don’t mind Huff being plucked in an upward move. I do have a problem with “Huff could’ve stayed at Marshall” if the AD was better at his job, or he leaves to go to a place like Southern Mississippi.
