Man, the affidavit for the raid on Mar-a-Lago is devastating and so transparent.

Ironically, those MAGAites (who are typically the "Tough On Crime" peeps) are now complaining about the very low bar needed for the feds to execute a search warrant. Welcome to the real world. Now let's also discuss civil forfeiture laws that allow the state to seize property without any criminal conviction, with the burden of proof otherwise on the private individual to prove his/her "innocence."

I don't think you will find much pushback about civil forfeiture laws here. In fact I recall recently reading a post by at least one conservative here that they had a change of heart about civil forfeiture after learning of some of the abuses.

Very low bar needed for a federal search warrant??? You mean for Hillary's email server and smashed cellphones or Hunter Biden's laptop??? The disparity of and political application of search warrants is what is most troubling to many here.

you have to admit the Trump's post some funny stuff.
I guess cocaine helps a sense of humor.

And even more ironically, this is the one time the government did everything else possible for a year to not make a criminal case before executing a search warrant.

Imagine having two kilos of cocaine, the cops know you have two kilos and have been clear about that, and for a year the cops say, "Just give us the cocaine, and it's all good, no criminal charges." Then imagine being dumb enough to only give them half the cocaine. That's what we have here.

Source?

Guess we could ask Hunter how drugs impact his sense of humor.

Not even remotely the same, but you know that. One is a felony punishable by a mandatory minimum 10-year federal sentence. The other a misdemeanor punishable by a fine or up to 1 year in jail, or possibly a 3-year max felony.

Source? Just look at Junior, he's coked out of his mind.

And I'm not sure how the second point is worth mentioning, he's a cokehead too. Maybe they should hang out and fvck some relatives together.

It's not like either of the two would be the first POTUS kids that are hard druggies. Patti Reagan was a cokehead. Hell, Nancy Reagan popped pills at a rate that would make her an honorary citizen of Boone County.

Tell me about it...I'd much rather someone had cocaine laying around the house than Top Secret documents.
