The 49'ers have beaten both Davidson and Wake Forest in successive games.

Charlotte being good is a good thing for the conference. They have way too many things going for them to stink in basketball.

Charlotte’s NET rating probably dropped after the Wake game lol. I saw the last five minutes and OT, I was bad basketball. Wake is worse than ND, worse than Pitt.
Danny Manning is Ron Wellman’s gift that keeps on giving.

I went with Herdmeister and we had a good time. Everything was first class and the people were friendly. Their ushers are really professional, which contributed greatly to the experience. If Andrew had been eligible and up to speed, maybe the outcome could have been different; JW had to play the whole game without rest. We went chin to chin with them under the basket, the combination of rotating Iran & Gorran looked pretty good. At times, we had three freshmen on the floor -- two of them true.. Unlike the first two games, I could see it coming together. I think we'll get much better as the season goes along. Next year, we very well could be ranked.
